We received this note from reader Dan Hubbard:
“I was stationed at CG Tillamook Bay from 1971-1793 and was Coxswain of CG44369. It was a terrifying and exhilerating experience at time, but the rewards far outdistanced the struggles. The comraderie between the people stationed there was incredible and I will never forget the Station’s dogs (Duke and Duke Jr.). I would be interested to find out where some of the other people who were there are today and what they are doing. If you were there, please e-mail be and let me know what is happening in your life.”
