A little blog serendipity here... my current blog entry is called The Parable of the Crab Pots, and I noticed I had a reader who picked it up from the "crabbing" tags. For fun, I went over to see who else was using the tags - you were. Not only that, you're using the Quentin theme, as am I.

You're the first other Quentin user I've found since coming to WP. Obviously, you are folks of impeccable taste! I've enjoyed poking around your blog, and especially liked the Shipwreck Registry.

Now that I know you exist, I'll keep an eye out. I've forwarded your site on to some Beatles and motorcycle fans I know!

Dear Bill:

It was very interesting talking to you of my friendship with The Frank Sinatra gang, which included Jilly Rizzo, Pat Henry, Irv Cotler, Al Viola, Bill Miller, Gene Sirica, Joe Parnello, Vinny Falcone and my dearest friend who Sid and I relate to as brothers the man who was so friendly with Frank and has played his music all over the world "Sid Mark" for 60 years. There are so many stories to tell that it would take a great deal of space. I will attempt to send yo some photos.

Thank you

Glad you like the 20 Best Oregon Books list.

I'm hoping to get to Astoria this summer -- I haven't been there in a long time. I'll be sure to stop at the Sunday Market when I go!

Dear Proprietor,
I read your kind comment on Motorcyclebloggers.com regarding my "Vintage Supreme" article about the 1913 Boardtrack Racer restoration. If you would like to use the article on your website or elsewhere, I can provide it to you. There are a couple of other articles that you may be interested in as well, although they are not exclusively American in nature. I still own all rights to all articles even though they have been published on some web sites and/or blogs.
Please let me know if you are interested.

Take care,
Dennis Lid
